This role would be traveling with a company van to our restaurants to perform work.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The position of General Repair Technician exists to ensure the ongoing maintenance, repair, and safe functionality of building facilities and equipment by addressing a wide range of construction, electrical, and plumbing tasks. This hands-on role supports efficient operations by quickly diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and maintaining high-quality standards across diverse areas such as doors, windows, flooring, plumbing, and electrical systems. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the technician helps create a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for staff, visitors, and occupants</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We offer a great benefit package including healthcare; medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, 401 with match, PTO, and more!</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform repairs on doors, windows, cabinetry, ceilings, and floors, including locks, hinges, tiles, and carpet.</li>\n <li>Diagnose and repair plumbing fixtures like faucets, toilets, urinals, sinks, and water supply lines.</li>\n <li>Replace or repair electrical switches, receptacles, lines, plugs, light fixtures, and emergency lighting.</li>\n <li>Conduct carpentry work such as fixing and assembling furniture and cabinetry hardware.</li>\n <li>Patch drywall, repair fences, and perform painting and touch-ups throughout the facility.</li>\n <li>Install, repair, or replace restroom fans, hand dryers, baby changing tables, and partitions.</li>\n <li>Requisition, manage, and organize supplies and materials for maintenance projects.</li>\n <li>Ensure workplace safety by mapping work sites and following safety procedures and construction best practices.</li>\n <li>Communicate and coordinate with managers and team members regarding scheduling and work orders.</li>\n <li>Record all maintenance activities for accurate tracking and compliance.</li>\n <li>Respond to emergency repair requests and resolve issues swiftly.</li>\n <li>Assist with miscellaneous facility and construction-related tasks as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams managing a team of workers and multiple projects</li>\n   <li>Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)</li>\n   <li>Thorough understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction</li>\n   <li>Dependable and strong work ethic</li>\n   <li>Basic math skills; able to calculate volume and measure materials to be cut</li>\n   <li>Must have own hand tools; Power and specialty tools will be supplied</li>\n   <li>Complete computer/administrative work accurately and efficiently </li>\n   <li>Competent in dealing with emergency situations</li>\n   <li>Able to multitask and manage time efficiently</li>\n   <li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills</li>\n   <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment</li>\n   <li>High observation and good time management skills</li>\n   <li>Ability to plan, prioritize and execute daily tasks to meet deadlines</li>\n   <li>Maintain vehicle in an organized and clean manner</li>\n   <li>Ensures that vehicle is driven safely, and traffic laws are obeyed.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
