    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Ambassador is responsible for greeting and checking credentials for pool entry. S/he will be responsible for assuring sales of outdoor amenity, as well as food and beverage delivery to waiting guests.  The Ambassador will always conduct them self in a manner that supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: <em>Trust, </em><em>Open & Honest Communication, and </em><em>Commitment.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Ambassador shall strive to provide exceptional service to our pool guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans and coordinates flow of guests at the Cove</li>\n <li>Greets incoming guests </li>\n <li>Have a daily In-House list as well as VIP list</li>\n <li>Cleans and resets lounge chairs and dining area as needed- opens\\closes umbrellas daily </li>\n <li>Ensures guests are comfortable and welcome if required to wait</li>\n <li>Responds to guests’ questions in a professional manner</li>\n <li>Maximizes the seating of the Cove</li>\n <li>Attends mandatory monthly department meetings </li>\n <li>Assists servers, bussers and bartenders with refilling beverages and/or clearing lounge chairs</li>\n <li>Delivers food to guests using assigned seating chart</li>\n <li>Rotates through the slide attendant position daily, working with the lifeguard to ensure guests use the water slide safely and one at a time </li>\n <li>Completes all assigned side-work, obtaining MOD or Supervisor signature when complete</li>\n <li>Informs server, bar staff or manager of any potential guest issues</li>\n <li>Familiarizes him/herself with menu & make recommendations on menu as needed </li>\n <li>Remove soiled towels as guests are complete with them</li>\n <li>Prep Cabanas for each guest, cleaning up afterwards</li>\n <li>Assists servers with monitoring lounge chairs for customer satisfaction, quality and additional service</li>\n <li>Maintains water service station, garbage removal and food service condiments</li>\n <li>Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest</li>\n <li>Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events</li>\n <li>Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information</li>\n <li>Addresses any guest issue promptly and with concern</li>\n <li>Offers guests assistance with resort directions, activity suggestions, etc. </li>\n <li>Provides assistance to pool staff as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school education preferred </li>\n <li>Prior food and beverage experience preferred</li>\n <li>At least six months customer service experience preferred</li>\n <li>Must have or be able to obtain prior to start date a valid OLCC card, Food Handlers Card</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, sun, heat);</li>\n <li>Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height,</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
