In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the <strong>inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting</strong> of amusement rides and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest safety.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Conduct routine inspections</strong> (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and as required) of rides and equipment, using both visual and auditory assessments to identify issues and perform corrective actions promptly.</li>\n <li><strong>Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance</strong>, including inspection, repair, and testing of ride components. This may involve servicing or replacing parts such as hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, gears, chains, sprockets, hoses, brakes, clutches, wheels, bearings, gearboxes, springs, and other mechanical systems.</li>\n <li><strong>Troubleshoot and resolve issues</strong> involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety.</li>\n <li><strong>Follow established repair procedures</strong> and maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs. Submit all required documentation to management in a timely and organized manner.</li>\n <li><strong>Communicate ride status updates</strong> clearly and effectively, both verbally and through written reports.</li>\n <li><strong>Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition</strong>, in compliance with applicable codes, laws, company policies, and industry best practices.</li>\n <li><strong>Perform advanced tasks</strong> based on experience, such as welding (MIG, TIG, and Arc), metal fabrication, and operating machinery including lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools.</li>\n <li><strong>Read and interpret technical documentation</strong>, including manufacturer manuals, service guides, and mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints, to support accurate repairs and component replacements.</li>\n <li><strong>Support other maintenance activities and projects</strong> as assigned by leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Valid state driver’s license.</li>\n <li>2–4 years of verifiable experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or amusement park setting.</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of basic mechanical principles, including gear ratios, torque, proper use of hand tools, and mechanical terminology.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with power transmission components such as bearings, bushings, couplers, and shafting.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems; proficiency in both is preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working at heights up to 300 feet on ladders, platforms, or other elevated structures.</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-RN1</p>",
