Ambassador l Winter or Summer Seasonal (Volunteer) Warren, VT RESORT OVERVIEW : RESPECT l INTEGRITY l TEAMWORK l SUSTAINABILITY Sugarbush Resort is a year-round destination offering some of the best skiing and riding in the east, an award-winning ski school, mountain biking, golf, disc golf, an array of dining venues, and a fully appointed Health and Recreation Center. Do you want to join an all-star team dedicated to delivering an unparalleled guest experience? Make this your best season yet by joining the team at Sugarbush and taking advantage of everything Vermont has to offer. POSITION SUMMARY : Are you a cheery individual with an outgoing personality? Do you enjoy helping other people? Sugarbush is currently looking for friendly volunteers to serve as Ambassadors around the mountain! First-year Ambassadors will receive an employee all-mountain season pass and one dependent pass, and much more! Benefits grow with consecutive seasons of volunteering. Seasonal volunteer commitment is a minimum of 20 days. RESPONSIBILITIES : Meet and greet guests in the parking and drop-off zones Assist with crowd and queue management in base area lift lines, ticket lines, and other queues Assist guests in locating appropriate terrain Lead "meet the mountain" tours. Complete other Guest Service related tasks. Happily share your knowledge of Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley with guests. QUALIFICATIONS : Must be 18 years or older. Ability to safely and strongly ski/ride beginner and intermediate terrain in all winter weather conditions. Strong team player with the ability to pitch in and support various departments. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to sit and/or stand in two-hour-long intervals, and push/pull up to 25 pounds. Must be familiar with Sugarbush Resort and knowledgeable about the surrounding Mad River Valley.
