Together, our 10 offices have created an energized engineering powerhouse offering enhanced capabilities to our ever-growing client base.&nbsp;</span></p><p><strong>What You Will Do:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We are looking for a full-time, Design Engineer to join our growing Dallas team. This position will design structural systems for a variety of construction types, in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial, industrial and parking.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Work directly with Project Manager/Engineer of Record in the development of project design, calculations, and developing assessment reports&nbsp;</li><li>Performs analysis of existing structures&nbsp;</li><li>Develop drawings or specifications for use during construction and ensures all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations</li><li>Assists in project coordination and meetings with the internal and external team members&nbsp;</li><li>Reviews project submittals and shop drawings&nbsp;</li><li>Visits projects during construction to learn construction practices and to provide on-site construction observation&nbsp;</li><li>Organize field data to facilitate analysis and problem solving&nbsp;</li><li>Interacts with higher level engineers and design technicians.</li><li>Attends client, architect, and contractor meetings</li><li>Learns to engage with potential clients to expand business relationships</li><li>Performs calculations per design specifications and industry standards</li><li>Utilizes Structural Design Software, such as RAM Structural Systems, ETBAS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and TEKLA</li><li>Shares information across all disciplines to confirm deliverables are compliant with client expectations and established quality standards</li></ul><p><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s in Civil Engineering with 1-3 years of related experience or Master&rsquo;s in Civil Engineering</li><li>Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD</li><li>EIT preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Competencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong communication skills are required.</li><li>Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
