This person will oversee janitorial operations across multiple buildings, ensuring high-quality cleaning standards, managing staff, and maintaining client satisfaction. </p>\n<h2>What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee and support a team of porters and matrons, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service.</li>\n <li>Assign cleaning tasks and special projects based on operational needs.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure all work meets Harvard and client standards.</li>\n <li>Train new and current staff members in best cleaning practices and safety protocols.</li>\n <li>Ensure all team members use proper safety equipment and follow established safety procedures.</li>\n <li>Manage inventory by ordering and distributing cleaning supplies and equipment.</li>\n <li>Review and process work tickets for task completion and accountability.</li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance and checks on general cleaning equipment.</li>\n <li>Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations to deliver exceptional results.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you’ll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous experience in the janitorial field preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Supervisory or Lead role</li>\n <li>Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment</li>\n <li>Ability to train staff, conduct inspections, and ensure safety compliance</li>\n <li>Tech-savvy; able to use smartphones/tablets for scheduling and reporting</li>\n <li>Organized, reliable, and able to work flexible hours</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The Harvard Promise</h2>\n<p>Join our team of Extraordinary People committed to delivering Exceptional Service.
