For those of you with experience, you already know how rewarding it can be.....for those of you with no experience, here is a little more information about this exciting career opportunity to help encourage you to apply...</p> \n<p><strong>What is ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)?</strong>Behavior analysis focuses on the principles that explain how learning takes place. Positive reinforcement is one such principle. When a behavior is followed by some sort of reward, the behavior is more likely to be repeated. Through decades of research, the field of behavior analysis has developed many techniques for increasing useful behaviors and reducing those that may cause harm or interfere with learning. Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is the use of these techniques and principles to bring about meaningful and positive change in behavior.</p>\n<p><strong>What would I be doing?</strong>Our ABA Therapists follow ABA therapy techniques in specialized, client based sessions in order to successfully reach goals per the client's behavior plan by performing a variety of duties related to verbal behavior, behavior modification, treatment plan implementation, data collection and intervention in individual treatment of clients.  </p>\n<p><strong>Where would I work with clients?</strong>We are a majority clinic based program, so you would work with clients at one of our three clinics. Bachelor degree <em>preferred</em></li>\n <li>Must be flexible and willing to work at any of the Damar ABA clinics</li>\n <li>Ability to pass and maintain Critical Moments Training (CMT) Certification</li>\n <li>Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification</li>\n <li>Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements</li>\n <li>Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)</li>\n <li>Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions</li>\n <li>Successfully complete a pre-employment physical</li>\n <li>Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#DSABA</p>",
