Description

Position Summary Odyssey is looking for an amazingly talented MBSE Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide senior technical and advisory assistance to the Targets Program Office by aiding in the refinement and implementation of MBSE design standards across a portfolio of products. The Missile Defense Agency's Program Director for Targets and Countermeasures oversees the design, development, manufacture, integration, and delivery of threat-representative, reliable, and cost-effective ballistic missile targets and countermeasures for the missile defense system. These targets are utilized to test, verify and validate performance of the missile defense system. The program also executes pre- and post-test data reduction and identifies target characterization activities necessary to support the Missile Defense Agency's test objectives. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Serve as designer for implementation of the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across the Targets Program office Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programs Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the (GRA) in Cameo Perform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs Perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools Define requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools Assist in requirements development and management Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance : Active Secret clearance Education: Bachelor's degree Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects Skills: Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working DoD Systems Ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools Experience with languages used for architecture modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture Framework and (Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)) Preferred Qualifications Skills Familiarity with MDA programs and processes Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORs NG Exposure to MDA test events and activities Additional Information Location: Huntsville, Alabama Travel: Yes, as required by the Customer Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Customer site; telework authorized, subject to change at the customer's discretion #LI-JK1 Company Overview Odyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
