The ideal candidate will have strong cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Cost Analysis and Control Review</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain Dynamics GP cost accounting system that ensures accurate costing&nbsp;</li><li>Produce daily production, variance and ad hoc reports&nbsp;</li><li>Review and analyze actual costs for variances and prepare reports</li><li>Prepare, analyze and report monthly Cost issues&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services to determine effects on costs&nbsp;</li><li>Study and collect data to determine the costs of business activities &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Planning &amp; Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop long-term and short-term plans in conjunction with the executive management and site team.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and gain agreement to annual business plans, ensuring alignment with strategy. Including detailed expenses and headcount budgets.&nbsp;</li><li>Establish and monitor annual business plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, including detailed expense and headcount budgets.&nbsp;</li><li>Create reporting systems to provide clear and accurate organizational performance metrics.&nbsp;</li><li>Quantify business outcomes, including revenue and other KPIs, and provide monthly financial reports to the executive team.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop financial models and business cases for key projects, ensuring cross-functional integration.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Trial Balance and Policy Assessment&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a subject matter expert in finance, accounting policies, and operational management.&nbsp;</li><li>Support various finance functions, including cost of goods sold calculation.&nbsp;</li><li>Solve complex financial challenges through data analysis and problem-solving strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize financial indicators to guide decision-making and business planning.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead and coordinate the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Point of contact for account reconciliations, process improvement recommendations, and financial statement preparation&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with various accounting functions that include reviewing balance sheet items, financial analysis, creating SOPs, inventory management, and reviewing general ledger details&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in month end close duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Balance Sheet &amp; Inventory Management&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee daily inventory counts conducted by warehouse personnel, variance reporting, and monthly trend analysis for shortages, overages, and outdated products.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform month-end reconciliations of inventory balances, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and enhance processes for intercompany inventory transactions.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.&nbsp;</li><li>3-5 years of strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Excel skills with extensive abilities in PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and data validation, text manipulation and charting</li><li>PowerPoint skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, with effective use of data visualization, design and aesthetics of templates</li><li>Proficiency in other Microsoft Software , Word and Access&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to develop and execute accounting strategies that drive business results and foster a culture of continuous improvement.&nbsp;</li><li>In-depth knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Highly organized and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.&nbsp;</li><li>Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive in problem-solving.&nbsp;</li><li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills; strong verbal, listening and negotiation skills.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
