Join the adventure of a lifetime by becoming a teammate with Aerodyne Industries and work on projects that will define our future.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA&#39;s Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion MultiPurpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">System Database Administrator is responsible for managing multiple databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for installation, patching and upgrades of databases.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for backup and recovery of databases using RMAN and data pump.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for performance tuning and optimization as well as Oracle Net configuration and Oracle Client Support.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in IT field at least 15 years of IT experience. Depending on the candidate&rsquo;s experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Functions&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Physical Requirements &middot; This position may involve extended periods of sitting or standing. Additional physical requirements include walking, climbing stairs, and accessing remote or elevated structures.</p><p><strong>Work Environment&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May be required to work inside and outside throughout the test complex.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position may require individual to travel daily to different areas on site.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand, may be required to access various locations on the facility.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Climbing ladders and platforms may be necessary.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and company safety standards.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Equipment and Machines&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Computers and printers used for producing reports and schedules.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Variety of equipment used in testing.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Attendance&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Full-time work hours.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position may require occasional overtime, including weekend work, depending on task.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be dependable and punctual. &middot; Shift work may be required.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Other Essential Functions&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to travel to support position requirements.
