PEs are responsible for assisting with the overall project planning and scheduling, reporting, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Five Key Roles of the Project Engineer:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting and collaborating with the Project Manager and Field Teams through frequent job site visits to ensure job progress and participate in job meetings</li>\n<li>Maintain document control for all core tools in Procore and other internal/external software; including but not limited to RFI’s, submittals, drawings, and specs</li>\n<li>Tracking production quantities for projects and elevating concerns to Project Manager in an expedited manner</li>\n<li>Manage all aspects of bulletin revisions- uploading and communicating to the PM Team, review, comment, and address revisions and other document revisions timely</li>\n<li>Assist PM Team with project start up and close out processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle correspondences with customers or vendors in a professional manner</li>\n<li>Staying up to date with regulations that can affect the permitting and safety aspects of a project</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate on estimating extra work when necessary</li>\n<li>Collaborating with Safety and Project Management Teams to complete visual job site safety inspections</li>\n<li>Assist in department projects as needed</li>\n<li>Communicating and upholding the Company’s commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, as well as ensuring the same for the entire team</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Other relevant tasks as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Education, Experience &amp; Qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other relevant discipline</li>\n<li>Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings</li>\n<li>Ability to manage several projects at once</li>\n<li>Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation</li>\n<li>Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Travel:</em></span></p>\n<p>Travel to and from job sites and office locations is required for this position. Fessler &amp; Bowman will compensate for travel when applicable.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Work Environment:</em></span></p>\n<p>As a Project Engineer, you will be subject to various work environments. These environments include office and field settings.
