    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Grain Inspector</strong></p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Intertek is searching for a <strong>Grain Inspector</strong> (Union)&nbsp;to join our Agri&nbsp;team in our<strong>&nbsp;Burnaby, BC</strong>&nbsp;office.&nbsp; This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career!</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">The&nbsp;<strong>Grain Inspector</strong>&nbsp;is responsible for:</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Attend Vessel loading to provide incremental grading as per CGC standards of grain, canola and pulse crops&nbsp;</span></p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Perform Moisture, Protein, Falling Number and DON testing as per acceptable industry methods</span></p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Divide samples, make up composite samples for retention and complete required paperwork.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicate and work in collaboration with terminal shipping department</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Properly utilize and maintain all PPE&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>&nbsp;What it takes to be successful in this role:</strong></p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience in grain grading as per CGC standards</p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Communication, literacy and numeracy skills in English</p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work as part of a team</p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work shift work</p><p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Salary Information</strong></p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The base wage for this position is between $33.53-$41.66 per hour.
