    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities & Requirements</h2>\n<p>Position duties include, but are not limited to the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responding to inquiries regarding billing and collection processing in compliance with CBO Patient Financial Services departmental policies and procedures</li>\n <li>This position requires working with patients and other callers in response to both hospital and physician billing questions</li>\n <li>The position also requires a working knowledge of all insurance payers to answer patient questions</li>\n <li>This position also requires a high level knowledge of the types of hospital and professional services</li>\n <li>Strong understanding about how denials impact the service related to the patient’s benefit/coverage plan.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Job Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school Diploma</li>\n <li>3 years Previous experience in hospital or physician</li>\n <li>Previous experience in patient accounting, medical billing, & medical terminology</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
