Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>As an <strong>Aerospace Engine Mechanic Trainee</strong>, you’ll participate in a comprehensive 14-week paid training program designed to provide the foundational knowledge, hands-on experience, and technical skills required to support turbine engine maintenance and repair operations. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be assigned to one of our engine programs in Winnipeg.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Participate in a structured 14-week paid turbine engine mechanic training program</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Learn repair and overhaul processes for gas turbine engines</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Inspect engine modules and engine components in accordance with technical standards</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Follow aviation safety practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Complete instructor-led classroom, lab, and practical on-engine training</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Use hand tools and specialized equipment to support maintenance activities</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Collaborate with team members and instructors throughout the training program</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Transition into an assigned engine program upon successful completion of training</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>High School Diploma or equivalent required</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Minimum of 2 years of job-related training or experience preferred</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Minimum 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting applicable technical data, Blueprints and drawing is preferred.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span>Ability to stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><br><br>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span><strong>Desired Skills</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;
