          "text": "<p><strong>Valet/Bell Person (Part Time)</strong><br>\nFrom a warm welcome to a fond farewell, as a Bell Person, you will take care of the guests as soon as they step foot onto your driveway, ensuring a lasting impression for our guests’ stay.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>What you will be doing:</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Noticeably positioned at entrances to provide parking assistance upon arrival and departure of guest vehicles</li><li>Greet all guests arriving by vehicle, and promote valet parking as the only hotel-related parking option or clearly direct guests to appropriate public parking service if they prefer</li><li>To ensure customer satisfaction by offering the highest caliber of service to the hotel guest on arrival and departure and throughout the length of the guest's stay</li><li>Greet all guests and co-workers with a smile and an appropriate hospitality greeting</li><li>Ensure all vehicle keys are clearly identified and stored in a locked location</li><li>Provide the guest with detailed parking fees and a clear explanation of valet benefits</li><li>Ensure all entrance areas are free and clear from congestion for arrivals and departures of vehicles by ensuring all cars are parked in an expedient manner</li></ul><ul><li>Complete thorough walk around of guest vehicles prior to entering the garage and highlight any damage on the corresponding valet parking ticket</li><li>When requested or anticipated, will provide guests with information and answers to questions about Hotel facilities, meeting functions, dining facilities, local transportation alternatives and tourist attractions</li><li>Provide the removal of items from stored vehicles if required, and other miscellaneous services requested by the guest or supervisor in a timely manner</li><li>Assists in fire alarms by fulfilling duties as outlined in the hotel fire response manual</li><li>Assist in ensuring guest and co-worker safety and security by reporting any suspicious or unusual behavior or occurrence to the appropriate supervisor on duty and informing security</li><li>Strict adherence to Fairmont Service Standard Expectations as it relates to valet parking</li><li>In the course of normal duties; observe, report or take immediate corrective action on deficiencies, malfunctions, and untidiness</li><li>Able to operate all types of vehicles (manual and regular transmission)</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):</strong></p><ul><li>Constant standing and walking throughout shift</li><li>Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs</li><li>Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting</li><li>Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps</li></ul>",
