As a Driver, duties include transporting goods to routes in a commercial vehicle, making deliveries and pickups to and from school sites and warehouses, and communicating with management team and dispatchers.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.</li><li>Load and unload cargo.</li><li>Properly track and document activity log.</li><li>Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.</li><li>Inspect truck before and after trip.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.</li><li>Maintain safe work practices.</li><li>Other duties as requested.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields</li><li>Commercial Driver&#39;s License</li><li>Ability to handle physical workload.</li><li>Strong work ethic</li><li>Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License, DOT Medical Certificate and Motor Vehicle Record (10 years of history.)</li><li>10-year DMV driving record history dated no later than 30 days with no more than 2 points</li><li>Touch freight required.</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Driving Class B: 1 Year (required)</li><li>CDL B (Required)</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;Hourly Rate: $26.25/hour</strong></p><p><strong>OTHER DUTIES:</strong></p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
