    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n  MANAGER – STRATEGY &amp; OPERATIONS \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  The Strategy &amp; Operations (S&amp;O) practice is one of the key practice areas within the Strategy &amp; Business Transformation Practice, and we focus on assisting our clients with business challenges in the areas of supply chain, logistics, procurement and general operations.&nbsp; Managers are primarily responsible for day to day project execution and additional business development. They apply well-honed consulting, project management, and functional skills in the management of major project components or entire projects. Further, Managers are involved in business development such as project diagnostics, proposal development, and sales calls. \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  Consulting Managers will typically be involved in the following activities: \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Scoping and planning client engagements \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Managing teams to complete client work in accordance with established budget, workplans, and quality standards \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Providing technical/functional content \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Developing and presenting conclusions and recommendations to senior client management \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Providing solution implementation assistance as required \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Developing leading industry insight to present to clients \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Managing client relationships and reporting project progress \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Leading, coaching, developing and supervising the efforts of junior staff \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  We are specifically looking for Managers to join our Strategy &amp; Operations practice within S&amp;BT.&nbsp; Specific experience requirements for this role include: \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Two to six years previous consulting experience \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Experience with Sourcing &amp; Procurement:&nbsp; Indirect Sourcing, Direct Materials Sourcing, Spend Analysis, Procure-to-Pay Process, E-Procurement experience (including technology implementation) \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Experience with Supply Chain Operations:&nbsp; logistics, supply chain transformation, cost &amp; operational improvement, Lean Six Sigma, manufacturing &amp; distribution \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  Managers will typically have: \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; 7+ years of related consulting or industry experience showing progression/promotion \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Outstanding analytical capability \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Demonstrated experience with strategy and operations within one or more targeted industries \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; The ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment as well as manage people and project workplans \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; Outstanding verbal and written communication skills \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; An MBA or other relevant advanced degree from a top educational institution \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; &nbsp; In addition to the qualifications listed above, the firm places high emphasis on relevant personal qualities: entrepreneurial, creative, imaginative, resourceful, independent, motivated, professional and collaborative. \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  &nbsp; \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div> \n<div>\n  Applicants must be willing and able to travel to client work locations up to five days/week. \n</div> \n<div>\n  <br/> \n</div>",
