In-person service at more than 50 sites throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties is inspired by the Gospel call affirming the sacredness of every human life.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>CCLI is looking for an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>On Call Licensed Practical Nurse</em></span> with a generous heart to work in our Talbot House, a   residential withdrawal and stabilization center licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction (OASAS).  We are seeking those with a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing “care with dignity and life with hope.”</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor, evaluate and care for clients’ condition, ensure compliance with medication procedures, and advise treatment team of any significant changes or treatment issues;</li>\n<li>Interact extensively with clients in various stages of recovery, helping them to acclimate to program activities and procedures;</li>\n<li>Provide general education and support in areas of treatment and health maintenance;  </li>\n<li>Collaborate with medical and clinical staff, and liaise with emergency and/or hospital personnel as needed;</li>\n<li>Provide documentation in an electronic medical records system.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>HS Diploma/GED;</li>\n<li>NYS Licensed Practical Nurse certification;</li>\n<li>Nursing experience in behavioral healthcare settings a strong plus;</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team;</li>\n<li>Strong listening and communication skills necessary to provide client-centered care;  </li>\n<li>PC proficiency required. Experience with electronic medical records data entry preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Schedule:</em></span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">On Call: two shifts per month minimum. 12.5 hours per shift. 7 PM - 7:30 AM or 7 AM - 7:30 PM Flexible schedule available</span></em><em>.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Rate of Pay</em></span>: <em>$40.00 per hour</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location.
