Plants and maintains new and existing vegetation.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</strong></u></p><ol><li>Cutting lawns with push mowers and riding mowers.</li><li>Maintaining trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls.</li><li>Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs.</li><li>Assist in annual flower plantings.</li><li>Cleans grounds and assists in leaf removal.</li><li>Shovels snow from walks and parking lots.</li><li>Spreads salt/ sand on public passage ways to prevent ice buildup.</li><li>Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.</li><li>Waters lawn and shrubs.</li><li>Repair irrigation lines and helps identify problems.</li><li>Mixes, applies appropriate pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or insecticides if certified.</li><li>Under the direction of the Grounds Manager and Director of Facilities, plans and sets up holiday decorations.</li><li>Assists with special projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in eradication of invasive species across the resort</li></ol><p><br></p><p><u><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></u></p><p>Workers work outdoors in the field approximately 90% of the time and indoors 10%.
