We currently have an opening for a <strong>Technical Engineering </strong><strong>Manager</strong> to join our team located at our facility in Tamaqua, PA.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The<strong> Technical Engineering Manager </strong>provides strategic and hands-on leadership to the plant’s technical, maintenance, and engineering functions. This role drives productivity, cost optimization, and product quality through technical innovation, discipline project execution, and proactive asset management.  This role will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, lead capital and process improvement initiatives, manage departmental budgets, and build team capability to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and mentor multidisciplinary technical teams in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of production equipment.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement standard work, troubleshooting guides, and reaction plans to strengthen reliability and operational consistency.</li>\n <li>Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives focused on equipment performance, product quality, and plant efficiency.</li>\n <li>Manage work order systems, PM/PdM programs, and spare parts inventory to ensure timely, effective maintenance execution .</li>\n <li>Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth by empowering team members to contribute ideas and develop their technical and leadership skills.</li>\n <li>Champion safety, environmental stewardship, and compliance across all maintenance and engineering activities.</li>\n <li>Partner cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver seamless operations and continuous process improvement.</li>\n <li>Oversee the technical budget for labor, materials, repairs, and capital expenditures; develop annual spending plans and monitor performance against targets.</li>\n <li>Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies, automation systems, and equipment that enhance manufacturing capability and performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Project and budget management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee the execution of development projects, manage budgets, and control costs associated with supporting manufacturing operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Cross-functional collaboration:.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure a smooth workflow and successful operation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technology and equipment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluate, approve, and implement new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>You will love it here if… </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>You put safety first, always.</li>\n <li>You listen, learn, and evolve.</li>\n <li>You are passionate about collaboration, teamwork, and achieving shared goals.</li>\n <li>You treat all people with respect, operating ethically, and embrace inclusivity.</li>\n <li>You are committed to improving our impact on local communities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We need you to have: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations.</li>\n <li>7+ years of professional and process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Previous leadership experience, with demonstrated success managing technical or maintenance teams.</li>\n <li>Project Management expertise, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Strong background in root cause analysis, reliability engineering, and structured problem solving.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to CMMS systems.</li>\n <li>Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working under pressure in a results-driven environment.</li>\n <li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed and travel occasionally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Icing on the cake: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>MBA or other advanced technical degree</li>\n <li>Proven experience developing, coaching, and mentoring technical professionals </li>\n <li>Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Reliability Excellence frameworks</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>If you answer yes to the following…we want to meet you!</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Intellectual Curiosity: Do you have an inquisitive nature?</li>\n <li>Problem Solving: Do you have a knack for tackling issues head-on? </li>\n <li>Entrepreneurship: Do you enjoy taking ownership of your work?</li>\n <li>Customer Centricity: Do you always act in the best interests of the customer, putting their needs first? </li>\n <li>Growth Mindset: Do you focus on progress rather than perfection?</li>\n <li>Continuous Improvement: Are you never satisfied with the status quo? </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Want to know more?
