As a Tax Sales Specialist, you bring what classic sales profiles rarely can: real tax expertise. You build trust from the very first conversation because you understand what your counterpart is talking about. Combined with your entrepreneurial instinct, you are perfectly positioned to win the mandate. Your Tasks Own the full sales cycle: from the qualified first conversation with founders and SME owners through to the signed mandate and a clean onboarding Lead discovery and closing conversations at eye level: technically grounded, with the goal of building trust quickly and driving decisions Create tailored proposals: assess the client's tax situation, clarify open questions, craft individually tailored offers, and win the mandate Drive qualified leads from our partner channels consistently from day one Collaborate and hand over to Tax Operations: pass won mandates seamlessly internally to ensure an outstanding client experience Maintain clean pipeline discipline in HubSpot: consistent follow-ups, clear deal status, no grey areas Share learnings with the team: feed recurring questions, objections, and signals from client conversations back in a structured way so we continuously improve. Your expertise is the differentiator, You work with leads who have already signalled interest and can immediately highlight their potential because you know they are a great fit for us You are closely embedded in the team and work directly with the GTM Lead and the TaxOps Team Your position combines a unique mix of deep tax knowledge and entrepreneurial ambition. Your profile Experience in a commercial or client-facing advisory role You translate complex tax topics into clear, confident language that founders actually understand High ownership mindset: you follow through You move confidently in a fast-moving, AI-native startup environment Native-level German; fluent English (C1) Ideally Solid hands-on experience in German tax law: tax returns, annual financial statements, GmbH and UG structures, ideally gained at a tax advisory firm or auditing company Qualification as Steuerfachangestellte:r, Steuerfachwirt:in or equivalent Experience advising or selling to German SMEs, GmbHs, or startups (Big4 background is an advantage) The process We move fast.
