    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<h2>Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation: </strong>$50.00-52.00/hr plus $5.09 for Health and Wellness</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>The Emergency Department RN provides immediate, high-quality care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity</li>\n <li>Conduct rapid assessments and initiate interventions</li>\n <li>Administer medications and emergency treatments</li>\n <li>Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms</li>\n <li>Assist with procedures and emergency response</li>\n <li>Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate EHR documentation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate emergency equipment (defibrillators, monitors, EKG)</li>\n <li>Initiate life-saving measures when needed</li>\n <li>Collaborate with providers and care teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 emergency care setting with medical and psychiatric patients</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)</li>\n <li>Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)</li>\n <li>Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience</li>\n <li>Strong English communication and documentation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Completion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)</li>\n <li>Compliance with credentialing and privileging standards</li>\n <li>Ability to float between units as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
