    "description": "<p>Ashtead Technology is looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment to lead our workshop team in Houma. This role is critical  to keeping operations running efficiently, safely, and profitably. If you’re passionate about operational excellence and enjoy motivating teams to perform at their best, we’d love to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll be doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading the day-to-day workshop and warehouse operations, ensuring client orders are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.</li>\n<li>Prioritising workshop resources and schedules to meet changing business and operational demands.</li>\n<li>Driving continuous improvement across the workshop by improving efficiency, reducing backlogs, and implementing lean/5S practices.</li>\n<li>Managing, coaching, and supporting workshop personnel to ensure strong performance, engagement, and development.</li>\n<li>Working closely with sales and operational teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and strengthen client relationships.</li>\n<li>Overseeing the effective turnaround and readiness of rental assets across the region and support international operational priorities when required.</li>\n<li>Monitoring operational costs, KPI performance, and overall workshop productivity while identifying opportunities for improvement.<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you'll bring:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience leading or supervising a workshop environment within the subsea, offshore, ROV, or similar technical industry.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of hydraulic ROV tooling and offshore IRM operations.</li>\n<li>A confident leadership style with the ability to motivate teams, manage priorities, and make decisions in a dynamic environment.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer-focused mindset.</li>\n<li>Experience driving operational improvements, efficiency initiatives, and lean/5S processes.</li>\n<li>Commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational delivery, client expectations, and business performance.</li>\n<li>Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.</li>\n<li>A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.</li>\n<li>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Previous experience leading or supervising a workshop environment within the subsea, offshore, ROV, or similar technical industry.</p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who we are:</span></p>\n<p>Established in 1985, Ashtead Technology is a leading provider of subsea equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services to the global offshore energy sector.
