Our model emphasizes interventional pain management, physical therapy, and lifestyle-based care, with a strong focus on improving function and quality of life without reliance on opioids.</p><p>This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered medicine in a setting designed to support efficiency, autonomy, and clinical excellence.</p><p><strong>Practice Setting</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Physician-led practice</li><li>Multidisciplinary orthopedic and pain management model</li><li>In-house X-ray and ultrasound</li><li>Integrated physical therapy services</li><li>Access to orthopedic specialists</li><li>Streamlined EMR with customizable templates</li></ul><p><strong>Clinical Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Evaluate and treat guests in-office and via telemedicine</li><li>Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans</li><li>Interpret and document in-house imaging</li><li>Order appropriate imaging, labs, and referrals</li><li>Perform interventional pain procedures</li><li>Prescribe non-opioid medications when clinically appropriate</li><li>Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR</li><li>Participate in rare after-hours or weekend call coverage</li></ul><p><strong>APP Oversight &amp; Leadership</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide clinical oversight of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)</li><li>Meet weekly with APPs to review clinical and operational data</li><li>Conduct quarterly performance and goal-setting meetings</li><li>Perform monthly chart reviews in accordance with Texas Medical Board guidelines</li></ul><p><strong>Operational &amp; Service Line Collaboration</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Participate in monthly clinic operations meetings with managers, APPs, and MAs</li><li>Meet weekly with the procedure scheduling team to review outstanding orders</li><li>Collaborate weekly and quarterly with DOC leadership to:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Review service-line performance metrics</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve access, efficiency, and outcomes</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Management (or interventional-focused specialty)</li><li>Commitment to non-opioid, function-based pain care</li><li>Comfortable in a leadership role with APP oversight</li><li>Collegial, efficient, and patient-focused</li></ul><p><strong>This position offers the stability of an established private practice with the opportunity to shape and grow a pain management service line within a collaborative orthopedic environment.</strong></p></div>\n",
