The LCSW will collaborate with educators, administrators, clinicians, and parents to promote students’ emotional well-being, academic success, and positive social development.</p>\n<p>This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who thrives in a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">collaborative, student-centered environment</span> and is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and communication.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Student Support &amp; Counseling</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide individual and group counseling for students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.</li>\n<li>Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify student needs and strengths.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to support student success.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Crisis Intervention &amp; Advocacy</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Respond promptly to crises, providing immediate support and safety planning.</li>\n<li>Serve as a liaison and advocate between students, families, and community resources.</li>\n<li>Report concerns in compliance with state laws and school policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaboration &amp; Case Management</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and ABA clinicians to align interventions with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.</li>\n<li>Participate in student support team meetings and contribute to behavior and academic planning.</li>\n<li>Connect families with outside agencies for additional support, including mental health, housing, and financial assistance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compliance &amp; Documentation</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and reports in accordance with professional standards.</li>\n<li>Adhere to state licensure requirements and ethical standards for social work.</li>\n<li>Follow Excel Prep’s communication policies, with a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">zero-tolerance policy for unprofessional interactions with students</span>.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.</li>\n<li>Active <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)</span> credential in the state of Texas.</li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in school social work, counseling, or related clinical setting (preferred).</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and special education processes.</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Commitment to Excel Prep’s values: <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">pay transparency, accountability, student-centered care, and integrity.</span></li>\n</ul>",
