The ideal candidate will have experience working with the \n<strong>Vulnerable Sector</strong>, \n<strong>High Risk Environment, </strong>with a strong presence, the ability to handle stressful situations, and an unwavering commitment to maintaining a secure environment. \n<strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u> :</strong>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Site Surveillance & Patrol:</strong> Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.</li>\n <li><strong>Visibility & Coverage:</strong> Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.</li>\n <li><strong>Access Control:</strong> Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.</li>\n <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.</li>\n <li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.</li>\n <li><strong>Incident Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.</li>\n <li><strong>Site & Asset Protection:</strong> Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.</li>\n <li><strong>Compliance with Safety Procedures:</strong> Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.</li>\n <li><strong>General Security Duties:</strong> Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.</li>\n</ul> \n<strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u> :</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>1-2 years of Security Guard experience working in <strong>Shelter</strong></li>\n <li>Must have a valid<strong> Ontario Security License.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>G Class Drivers License</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must have a Clean Driver's Abstract </strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must be 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.</strong></li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40 hours a week.</strong></li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR</li>\n</ul> \n<strong><u>Benefits</u>:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong><u>Disclaimer</u>:</strong> As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
