In the absence of the General Manager, the 1st Assistant Manager is responsible for executing the following responsibilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bosselman Pump & Pantry has many benefits to offer you that you will not find anywhere else like:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Employee discounts on food and fuel</li>\n <li>Vacation after six months</li>\n <li>401K and matching contributions</li>\n <li>Health, dental and vision insurance</li>\n <li>Short and long term disability insurance</li>\n <li>Life insurance</li>\n <li>A clearly defined path for growth</li>\n <li>On-demand pay with PayActiv (access to earned but not yet paid wages)</li>\n <li>And much more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Bosselman Pump & </strong><strong>Pantry offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through:</strong></p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists with hiring, discipline, and terminating personnel in partnership with the District Manager and Corporate Human Resource Department.</li>\n <li>Ensures all daily weekly, monthly operational routines (including back office functions, bookwork, and inventory control) are completed timely and accurately.</li>\n <li>Ensures customer needs are met and supports execution of the company’s customer service Standards.</li>\n <li>Supervises cash control and bank deposits.</li>\n <li>Assists in ensuring team members follow proper food safety procedures and safe handling/storage practices in compliance with all state and federal food safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Maintains and project a positive attitude and professional presence.</li>\n <li>Assists in addressing personnel, customer and facility concerns in a timely and professional manner.</li>\n <li>Ensures store standards are maintained through daily execution of cleanliness, in-stock conditions, and fast, friendly customer service). </li>\n <li>Supports effective scheduling practices, daily management of labor exceptions, and adherence to weekly labor budgets, including overtime management.</li>\n <li>Ensures completion of all required team member training.  </li>\n <li>Ensure all food products are properly stored, code dated, and maintained at appropriate temperatures, whether cooked or stored.</li>\n <li>Uphold company policies and assists with performance management as needed.</li>\n <li>Assists in maintaining required records related to merchandise, personnel, and fuel operations.</li>\n <li>Attends management meetings and required training sessions.</li>\n <li>Teaches, coaches, trains, and represent the F.I.R.S.T engagement model.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in other duties, as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directly supervises 4 to 16 employees at the assigned Pump & Pantry location.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum on one to three years’ experience as an Assistant Manager preferred, with minimum of six months as Sales Associate required.</li>\n <li>Associated Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid Food Handler’s permit or ServSafe Certification where required by law or company policy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of operations and maintenance of equipment within the assigned stores.</li>\n <li>Ability to work nights, weekends, and company-observed holidays as business needs require.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a minimum of three second shifts per week opposite the General Manager to ensure management coverage during key operating hours. </li>\n <li>Reliable transportation and telephone access required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE.</li>\n <li>Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.</li>\n <li>Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong>  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the 1st Assistant Manager to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
