The role will be required to professionally assist with maintenance calls to diagnose a/c issues, plumbing concerns, internet connections, and repairs to light fixtures. The Painter/Engineer will be the one bringing life to walls, ceilings, and common areas. From prepping surfaces to adding the final touches, the Painter's work will make a difference in how people see and feel about our property. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid Hawaii driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required</li>\n <li>A minimum of 2-4yrs experience in painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods</li>\n <li>Strong drywall experience is needed</li>\n <li>Experience in the hospitality industry is ideal</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion</li>\n <li>Must have knowledge of proper use of tools regularly available in the painting/staining and maintenance industry</li>\n <li>Good attention to detail and color matching skills</li>\n <li>Capable of successfully utilizing the work-order system</li>\n <li>Effective verbal communication skills required</li>\n <li>Comfortable with guest interactions and addressing concerns</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with team members</li>\n <li>Strong proactive problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Must work with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Able to walk, stand, and work at various heights throughout duration of shift</li>\n <li>Flexibility for scheduling needs</li>\n</ul>",
