    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>General Purpose:</strong></p><p>Corsair is seeking an energetic and motivated Events &amp; Technical Marketing<span>&nbsp; </span>specialist to join our events team in the Milpitas, CA office.&nbsp;</p><p>This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify goals by understanding, prioritizing, and creating industry-specific, targeted event activations. They will need to manage multiple projects simultaneously under ambiguity and pressure, in a collaborative and professional manner.</p><p>Our ideal candidate has strong time management and organizational skills, is proactive, and adaptable to change.<span>&nbsp; </span>You are equally comfortable setting up equipment, managing demo environments, and collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Partnerships, PR, and Regional Marketing teams.</p><p>This position will report to the Manager of Events.</p><p><strong>Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:</strong></p><p>Event planning / Project Management&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Organize and set event planning milestones that enable visibility on the progress of execution.&nbsp;</li><li>Tracks and maintains an inventory of products and promotional items in Event storage.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists with travel coordination for tradeshows, conferences, and events, as needed.</li><li>Create and keep track of Purchase Orders done for the specific event being executed against the show budget.</li><li>Travel to events and trade shows (as needed), both locally and internationally, with technical expertise and product setup/demonstrations.</li><li>Develop SOP’s and structure for scalable demo standards, live presentation frameworks, and activation strategies.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\">Technical Marketing&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Build and troubleshoot product set-ups for events. &nbsp;Ensure all hardware and software are up-to-date and working efficiently.</li><li>Know the ins and outs of PC building.&nbsp; Be able to setup and trouble-shoot PCs at an event.</li><li>Deliver live product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs for media, influencers, partners, enterprise customers, and internal stakeholders.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Internal Coordination of events</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Collaborate with the Marketing team on product signage, design, technical setups, and promotional materials</li><li>Work with events manager to keep stakeholders informed and ensure keeping to the budget and show objectives.</li><li>Assist in the coordination of logistics for tradeshows of your region&nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Event Execution and Post-show</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Provides onsite support at tradeshows and events, including monitoring deliveries and staff scheduling.</li><li>Will be the coordinator on duty for the staff at the event</li><li>Assist on set up event booth and/or area including tear down with staff members.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Skills and Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>3+ years work experience</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Business or Marketing.</li><li>Event organizing experience preferred but not required.&nbsp;</li><li>Proven technical product knowledge for consumer hardware.</li><li>Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Strong project management skills in fast-paced environments.</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Excellent problem-solving skills with a technical mindset.&nbsp;</span></li><li>Self-starter who takes initiative, attention to detail and highly reliable.<span>&nbsp;</span></li><li>Team Player, strong communication skills, with interpersonal and follow-up skills.</li><li>Problem solver - Outside of the box thinker that can bring creative ideas and persistent in finding solutions to any situation.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Other requirements:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Able to lift at least 30lbs&nbsp;</li><li>Is an avid gamer or is a PC gamer enthusiast.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"background-color: white; margin-bottom: 7.5pt;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(71, 71, 71); font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand.
