As a consultant in system engineering, you will bring the best in problem solving, technical project management, and team leadership to define and deliver complex systems that have become the core of today&#39;s commercial and defense airplanes. This role requires someone who is self-motivated and ready to work as a value-added partner. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Systems architecture development &amp; decomposition, requirements definition, concept of operations, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), validation and verification, development assurance, safety analysis, and systems integration</li><li>Responsibility also includes project management, use and deployment of tools, technology and manufacturing assessments, and internal and external interactions</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Plan, execute, and troubleshoot complex systems integration to validate interface definition and system requirements of airplane network systems</li><li>Perform risk management and trade study analyses&nbsp;</li><li>Work with other teams to resolve technical issues</li><li>Provide analytical and problem-solving skills to accomplish optimal system design and integration</li><li>Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned</li></ul><p><strong>Required Experience and Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience with airplane software certification RTCA DO-178</li><li>Experience with airplane networks and communication systems</li><li>Basic knowledge of network protocols, routing table definitions, and network architecture definitions</li><li>Experience with test procedures, lab testing and troubleshooting</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communications</li><li>Experience with Development Assurance, Certification and Safety Analysis</li><li>Customer focus and ability to jump to the hottest &ldquo;fire&rdquo; and contribute to problem solutions</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree and 5 or more years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years relevant experience</li></ul><p><strong>Other Information</strong></p><ul><li>Full time and part time roles (remote and in office)</li><li>Located in Seattle, WA</li></ul><p><em>SeaTec Consulting Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, income, marital status or any other dimension of diversity.</em></p><p><em>SeaTec is a trusted, leading provider of consulting, engineering, and digital domain expertise solving complex business, operational and technical challenges for clients in asset-intensive industries.&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>SeaTec&rsquo;s deep industry knowledge and technical expertise paired with its turn-key service offerings enable the company to deliver program life cycle solutions that are unmatched by competitors.
