The Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty to support the Davis College’s academic School of Natural Resources and the Environment. Appointments are on a semester-by-semester basis with varying instructional needs depending on course enrollments and faculty availability. Review of applications occurs on an as-needed basis. Qualified candidates may be contacted at any time when an opportunity becomes available.
The College’s mission is rooted in the land-grant tradition—preparing students for impactful careers, advancing knowledge through research and innovation, and serving the people of West Virginia and beyond. The School of Natural Resources and the Environment includes the following academic programs: 1) Environmental, Energy and Land Management; 2) Environmental, Soil and Water Sciences; 3) Forest Resources and Conservation; 4) Wildlife and Fisheries Resources.
