    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>API 510/570 Inspector - TAR Work&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>TEMPORARY PROJECT: 4-6 weeks beginning in early April</strong></p><p><strong>LOCATION: Washington State</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world’s top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking an API 510/570 Inspector<strong>&nbsp;</strong>to join our Asset Integrity Management team for a 4-6 week long project based in <strong>Washington State</strong>. Must be willing to travel.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>An API 510/570 Inspector position analyzing piping systems and circuits under the direction of Project Manager, Team Leader at a client facility during a TAR.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Shift/Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>this is a short-term, project-based position working 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week for a period of approximately 4-6 weeks beginning on or around April 3, 2026. Any training required will take place prior to project start and will be fully paid at a training rate.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p><strong>The base wage or salary range for this position is $62.00-$68.00 upon project commencement at the client facility and you may also be eligible for a per diem, depending on distance traveled. &nbsp;Round trip air transportation will be provided, if necessary. The base wage during the training/certification phase prior to travel will be $18.00. &nbsp;</strong>Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Review and research documents to assist in determining piping systems and circuits.</li><li>Interface with the client on technical matters involving Inspection&nbsp;procedures and capabilities</li><li>Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers</li><li>Stay abreast of any new developments in API-certified Inspection&nbsp;that may be applicable in our business</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What is takes to be successful in this role:</strong></p><ul><li>Current API 510 and/or&nbsp;API 570 certification with 5+ years' experience minimum; additional certifications a plus</li><li>NDE and Drafting background preferred</li><li>Valid TWIC card (required)</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)</li><li>Excellent computer and organizational skills a must</li><li>Self-motivated driven individual a must</li><li>Must be able to apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test results</li><li>Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors</li><li>Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors (preferred)</li><li>Ability to solve technical issues in the field.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Intertek: Total Quality.
