          "text": "<p><strong>Metro PT is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to work closely with, and under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Our clinics enjoy a well-trained support staff, as well as a state-of-the-art space and equipment. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!</strong></p><p><br>\n<strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Actively participates in patient care, notifying the supervising Physical Therapist of matters concerning the patient's condition.</li><li>Follows the Plan of Care established by the Physical Therapist and practices within state practice guidelines.</li><li>Exercises sound judgement, care, professionalism and skill in the performance of duties.</li><li>Instructs and counsels patients effectively in exercises and recovery.</li><li>Identifies patient’s needs and exhibits compassion and caring.</li><li>Conveys potential modifications ensuring patient’s progress, safety and comfort to the Physical Therapist.</li><li>Completes documentation in the EMR to support the delivery of physical therapy services</li><li>Under direct supervision of and with co-signature by a PT, records daily notes.</li><li>Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests.</li><li>Helps treat patients by applying ice or heat packs, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion; tracking walking time and distance; performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques as requested by PT.</li><li>Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.</li><li>Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.</li><li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Enhances physical therapy department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments, is a team player.</li><li>Reports any issues needing resolution to Physical Therapists.</li></ul><p><strong>Success Looks Like:</strong></p><ul><li>A-Game Attitude: Each day in the clinic you showcase a desire to connect with people with positive, approachable attitude</li><li>Coachability: Be able to take constructive feedback and turn it into actionable items</li><li>Patient Satisfaction &amp; Outcomes: Ensure that each patient leaves feeling happy and healthy with the ability to exceed their functional goals</li></ul><p><em><strong>All levels of experience are encouraged to apply and will train the right new graduate.</strong></em></p>",
