          "text": "<p><u><strong>Overview:&#xa0;</strong></u></p><p>The Nursery Maintenance Lead oversees maintenance operations of the nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, good leadership skills and a proactive approach to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><u><strong>Here's what you'll do:&#xa0;</strong></u></p><ul><li>Preventive Maintenance: Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment. Regularly inspect equipment to identify and address potential issues before they lead to significant downtime.</li><li>Equipment Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. This includes troubleshooting complex mechanical failures and performing emergency repairs as needed.</li><li>Team Leadership: Lead the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. Escalates any performance or discipline concerns to the manager.</li><li>Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Implement effective inventory control systems to minimize waste and reduce costs.</li><li>Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any potential hazards. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team and across the facility.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs. Utilize maintenance management software to track and report on maintenance performance metrics.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in maintenance operations, implementing best practices and new technologies where applicable. Lead initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and reducing maintenance costs.</li></ul><p>Pay range: $23.00 - $25.50 per hour. Final Compensation will be dependent upon skills &amp; experience.</p>",

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.</li><li>Experience in leading a maintenance team desired.
