The Set Medic is responsible for providing immediate medical care and first aid to cast, crew, and production personnel while helping maintain a safe working environment throughout all stages of production.</p><p>The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly professional, and experienced working in fast-paced environments. Experience in film, television sets, or large-scale productions is a plus.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Provide on-site emergency medical care and first aid to cast, and crew as needed.</li><li>Assess injuries and illnesses and determine appropriate treatment or escalation to advanced medical services.</li><li>Coordinate with local EMS, hospitals, and emergency responders when necessary.</li><li>Maintain accurate incident, treatment, and injury reports in accordance with applicable regulations and production policies.</li><li>Monitor production activities and identify potential health and safety concerns.</li><li>Assist production management in implementing safety protocols and emergency response procedures.</li><li>Ensure medical equipment, supplies, and first aid kits are fully stocked and operational. Connection to or ability to have ambulance on set is a huge plus.</li><li>Participate in safety meetings, production briefings, and risk assessments.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality regarding all medical incidents and personnel information.</li><li>Provide support during physically demanding, remote, or high-risk production activities.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Current EMT certification in good standing.</li><li>Valid CPR and AED certifications.</li><li>Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and patient assessment.</li><li>Ability to work long production days, including nights and/or weekends, as required.</li><li>Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license and reliable transportation.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Previous experience as a Set Medic on film, television, commercial, or live event productions.</li><li>Ability to have an ambulance on set.</li><li>Experience working in remote locations, outdoor environments, or action-oriented productions.</li><li>Familiarity with entertainment industry safety practices and production workflows.</li></ul><h2>Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry medical equipment and supplies.</li><li>Ability to respond quickly to emergencies across various production locations and terrain.</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p><p>We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and encourage qualified candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
