Territory Sales Manager On Point Solutions, LLC
Territory: Southern MN (Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Rochester, Mankato, Albert Lea, etc)
Budgeted Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 + commission (base determined by experience)
The Opportunity We are looking for a driven, technically curious, relationship-focused sales professional to grow and manage our southern MN territory.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in:
Industrial equipment sales Manufacturing technology sales Machine tool sales Automation or fabrication solutions Technical B2B capital equipment You’ll work directly with fabrication shops, manufacturers, plant leadership, and business owners to identify operational challenges and recommend solutions that improve production and profitability.
Candidates whose backgrounds have been primarily centered in high-volume consumer, retail, automotive dealership, residential, or pharmaceutical sales environments may find this role to be a significantly different sales model than what they are accustomed to.
What You’ll Do Develop and grow a defined sales territory through strategic prospecting and relationship-building Identify and close new capital equipment opportunities within fabrication and manufacturing environments Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through implementation Build strong partnerships with shop owners, plant managers, engineers, and operations leaders Conduct equipment presentations, customer visits, and solution discussions Collaborate with internal applications, service, and leadership teams to support customer success Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM activity Represent On Point Solutions professionally at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events Travel extensively throughout the territory to support customers and business growth The Right Person For This Role Will Likely Have Prior experience selling within industrial manufacturing, capital equipment, fabrication, CNC, automation, or other technical B2B environments Comfort working directly within manufacturing facilities and production environments Confidence communicating with owners, operators, engineers, plant leadership, and decision-makers Experience managing longer sales cycles and complex customer projects A consultative sales mindset focused on relationship-building and problem-solving rather than transactional selling The ability to operate independently, manage a territory strategically, and take ownership of customer relationships A genuine interest in helping manufacturers improve operational efficiency, productivity, and performance Preferred Background
