Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an experienced <strong>Food Operations Manager 2</strong> to support a premier account at the <strong>Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, VA</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is perfect for someone who loves <strong>numbers, insights, and impact</strong>—and who also enjoys being connected to day‑to‑day operations without being hands-on in the kitchen.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h3>About the Operation</h3>\n<p>You’ll support a diverse, hospitality-forward food program that includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Corporate Café</strong> with 5 stations (grill, deli, entrée, global cuisine, salad bar + rotating pop-ups)\n  <ul>\n   <li>Café hours: <em>7:30 AM – 1:30 PM</em></li>\n   <li><strong>24-hour Grab & Go</strong> with self checkout</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Starbucks® licensed location</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Open <em>7:30 AM – 3:00 PM</em></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Executive Dining Room</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Elevated lunch buffet, <em>4 days per week | 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM</em></li>\n   <li>Catering production for the building</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Team size:</strong> 24 hourly employees on site</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>The Role at a Glance</h3>\n<p>This position is <strong>70% finance-focused</strong> and <strong>30% operationally engaged</strong>—ideal for a finance professional with food service experience who wants to be deeply embedded in the business.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will serve as a trusted financial and operational partner to General Managers and Operations Leaders, helping drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.</p>\n<h2>Incentives</h2>M-F 6am to 4pm with some evenings, no weekends\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>\n<h4>Financial Leadership & Analysis (Primary Focus)</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead <strong>daily, weekly, monthly financial reporting</strong> with accuracy and consistency</li>\n <li>Own <strong>weekly flash reports</strong>, including analysis of:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Volume</li>\n   <li>Labor</li>\n   <li>Food cost</li>\n   <li>Settlements with clear root-cause explanations</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Deliver <strong>insight-driven forecasts</strong> and performance trends</li>\n <li>Manage all financial matters across cost centers, including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Account reconciliations</li>\n   <li>AR / AP</li>\n   <li>Billing</li>\n   <li>Budgeting</li>\n   <li>Inventory & transfers</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Perform <strong>trend and year-over-year variance analysis</strong> to support budgeting and decision-making</li>\n <li>Partner with General Managers to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Optimize labor</li>\n   <li>Control food cost</li>\n   <li>Improve margins</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Provide ongoing <strong>financial coaching</strong> to GMs, Chefs, and Operations Leaders</li>\n <li>Monitor labor trends and staffing efficiencies, recommending adjustments as needed</li>\n <li>Manage <strong>ABC and business licensing compliance</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Operational Support & Engagement</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Be present in the operation, supporting:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Café oversight</li>\n   <li>Starbucks initiatives</li>\n   <li>Catering and special events</li>\n   <li>Marketing and program rollouts</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Assist with implementation of new programs and concepts</li>\n <li>Support leaders where needed to ensure smooth daily operations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
