Description

Overview Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Application Development Solution Architect to serve as the lead technical expert for the architecture, design, and development of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions while overseeing the full application lifecycle, guiding development teams, ensuring seamless system integrations, establishing development standards, reviewing code for quality and compliance, and mentoring team members to drive innovation and successful delivery. This opportunity is remote with required travel to the DC area. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET or TOP SECRET CLEARANCE. Responsibilities Serve as the lead technical expert responsible for the architecture, design, and development of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable application designs aligned with organizational objectives and best practices. Oversee the full application development lifecycle from design through deployment and ongoing support. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery. Ensure seamless integration of new applications with existing systems and enterprise platforms. Define and establish development standards, frameworks, and best practices for the application development lifecycle. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, performance, and compliance with established standards. Mentor and support team members to foster technical growth, innovation, and effective delivery of ServiceNow application solutions. Qualifications All personnel must hold an active Secret or Top Secret (TS) clearance at the time of award; a TS clearance is required for positions involving privileged access. Required certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS); ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is preferred. Minimum 7+ years of technical experience, including at least 3+ years focused on custom application development within enterprise environments. Strong expertise in custom application architecture, application lifecycle management, performance optimization, and ensuring adherence to code quality and compliance standards. W2 Hourly rate starts at $70. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, and location, and are subject to change at any time.
