    "description_html": "<p>Assists with transportation of residents and monitors the program during assigned shifts while ensuring the safety of the residents and program site.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</u></p><p>• Transports residents to appointments, self-help meetings, events, and other activities.</p><p>• Performs breathalyzer testing and toxicology screenings upon return from outings as needed.</p><p>• Coordinates transportation plan with onsite staff.</p><p>• Monitors the program site and residents in order to ensure the safety of residents is maintained.</p><p>• Maintains driver’s license and obtains continued education regarding safe driving measures.</p><p>• Operates agency vehicles safely.</p><p>• Inspects vehicles used daily in order to ensure compliance with all safety standards.</p><p>• Assists with vehicle maintenance logs and regular preventative maintenance as assigned.</p><p>• Ensures agency vehicles are kept fueled and in a clean and presentable appearance.</p><p>• Responds to crisis and emergency situations accordingly.</p><p>• Responds to all immediate social or housekeeping issues as they arise.</p><p>• Inputs data into the agency database as requested by site supervisor.</p><p>• Performs general program tasks as needed (e.g., answering telephones, filing, shopping, assisting with kitchen responsibilities, etc.).</p><p>• Responds to vehicle issues and emergencies as they arise.</p><p>• Attends and participates in all individual program and agency activities as required.</p><p>• Attends and participates in all job related workshops and in-service trainings.</p><p>• Possesses a general knowledge of contagious diseases (i.e., HIV, Hepatitis B, TB etc.) and takes precautionary measures to limit transmission. Also, responds professionally and responsibly to incidents involving contagious diseases.</p><p>• Assists in the implementation of the agency’s policies and procedures.</p><p>• Is mindful of and integrates Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles in all duties and interactions with fellow staff, residents, and external partners.</p><p>• Maintains compliance with all required rules and regulations including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid and/or HUD, and any others.</p><p>• Carries out other duties essential to the above stated responsibilities as assigned.</p><p>• Regular attendance at work location.</p><p>• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>• Other duties may be assigned.</p>",
