This is an excellent opportunity for a senior maintenance worker.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $20.00 - $21.00 an hour.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hours are primarily daytime, but some evening and weekend hours may be required. This full-time position will be based in our Belleville and Fairview Heights, IL locations.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritize and complete work orders. </li>\n <li>Perform carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical tasks. </li>\n <li>Prepare vacated rooms/apartments for incoming tenants. </li>\n <li>Clean and help maintain company vehicles. </li>\n <li>Complete building audits and system inspections and correct discrepancies. </li>\n <li>Prepare damage invoices and supporting documentation. </li>\n <li>Maintain landscaping and building grounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent plus three years of building maintenance experience in at least two of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems. </li>\n <li>Two years’ experience in a lead role is preferred. </li>\n <li>Good communication and customer service skills.</li>\n <li> Able to work independently and to work flexible hours. </li>\n <li>Able to lift and push a minimum of 50 pounds. </li>\n <li>Able to climb and work from a ladder.
