    "description": "<h2>Location</h2>US-Ohio-Middlefield\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>To lead the maintenance department in maintaining the plant and equipment to insure reliability and uninterrupted production and quality product.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assign work orders to the Maintenance Team and schedule with production to get tasks completed in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Coordinate or install, inspect, repair, and maintain the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all departments.</li>\n <li>Develop a preventative maintenance program (CMMS) to provide the recommended equipment maintenance according to the manufacturer's specs and experience.</li>\n <li>Schedule periodic inspections of key equipment such as mixers, transformers, and electrical distribution equipment for the plant and maintain records of these results, interpret, and take corrective action as needed.</li>\n <li>Purchase and maintain adequate support of spare parts and supplies needed to keep the plant and equipment running efficiently.</li>\n <li>Problem solve and troubleshoot in all areas of plant equipment.</li>\n <li>Procure new equipment and installations.</li>\n <li>Obtain quotes and work with outside vendors on projects and improvements to old existing equipment.</li>\n <li>Submit Authorization for Expenditures (AFE) requests for capital equipment and projects.</li>\n <li>Work with the safety team to ensure a safe and productive work environment.</li>\n <li>Work with IT as needed on equipment issues and programming needs.</li>\n <li>Maintain time sheets and vacation requests.</li>\n <li>Train and develop qualified maintenance mechanics.</li>\n <li>Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians.</li>\n <li>Prepare budget and monitor expenses.</li>\n <li>Involved in continuous improvement of plant and process equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be on call and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.</li>\n <li>Travel to other HEXPOL locations may be required.</li>\n <li>Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates Degree or Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field, preferred. Experience in mechanical and electrical may be considered in lieu of education.</li>\n <li>Five (5) years' maintenance/manufacturing experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Three (3) years' supervisory experience in a maintenance position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Understanding mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and electronic control systems, pneumatics, HVAC, rubber industry production equipment, internal combustion engines, single and three phase electric motors.</li>\n <li>Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent computer/systems skills -  MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook). Knowledge of E-Maintenance, IFS, CMMS, SAP, and PLCs preferred.</li>\n <li>Excellent cooperation and collaboration skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant.</li>\n <li>Ability to supervise, coach and develop Associates. Ability to interact well with all personality types in a supervisory role.</li>\n <li>Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle personal and confidential information.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>Great career opportunity. </p>",
