    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Job Functions</span></p>\n<p><span>·         </span><span>Safeguards the established practices to guarantee that personnel profiles and criteria for recruitment and promotion are adhered to and they are incorporated in the appropriate screening and evaluation</span></p>\n<p><span>·         </span><span>Assists in filing vital supportive documentation for screening and promotion decisions, as per our practices in the designated filing system</span></p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Monitors and controls the compliment of crews onboard as per established practices and procedures</p>\n<p><span>·         </span><span>Ensures the prompt monitoring and filing of all medical crew related case throughout the fleet, to assure that all medical records are:</span></p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Properly maintained</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Available</p>\n<p><span>·         </span><span>Processing senior officer’s appointments to respective Fleet, by:</span></p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Lining, proposing and acquiring approval</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Checking National and Flag state certificates to be valid</p>\n<p><span>·         </span><span>Liaise with respective vessel by updating status of Senior officers’ replacement</span></p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Organizes and co-ordinates senior officer visitation to the managing office, to assure that company’s policies are followed</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Increase crew familiarization towards them</p>\n<p><span>·         </span><span>Retrieves the required crew data and statistics or provides such information to the:</span></p>\n<p><span>-          </span>HC, on an ad-hoc basis</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Operation, Technical and other interested parties, when required</p>\n<p><span>·         </span><span>Initiates and follows up with the Superintendents and Managers, the evaluation for senior seafarers</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Shipping and/or minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Thorough knowledge of:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Our SMS</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>International crewing conventions, as:</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>IMO/ILO/STCW</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>ISM</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>ISPS including flag state</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>Customer (TMSA)</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>Maritime Unions</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Adequate English Skills</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Ability to use:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Office software</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Spreadsheets</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Document management systems</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Any experience on ERP systems would be an additional benefit</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Knowledge of NS</p>",
