          "text": "<p>The Class 5 5-ton City Pick up &amp; Delivery driver is responsible for:</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Completing local deliveries within Melfort and the surrounding area in a timely and efficient manner</li><li>Operating and maintaining a 5-ton delivery truck in accordance with company policies and local regulations</li><li>Planning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency</li><li>Loading and unloading cargo safely, using proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessary</li><li>Verifying shipments against delivery orders and reporting any discrepancies</li><li>Collecting signatures and payments for deliveries when required</li><li>Maintaining accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance</li><li>Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance</li><li>Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members</li><li>Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while representing the company professionally</li><li>Assisting with warehouse duties such as inventory management and order preparation as needed</li><li>Reporting any accidents, injuries, or safety concerns immediately to management</li><li>Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle at all times</li><li>Participating in regular safety meetings and training sessions</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>A normal work week will be Monday to Friday; however, some flexibility in availability will occasionally be required to meet delivery demands and customer needs.</p>",
