This dynamic leadership role blends hands-on refrigerant recovery field service work, direct sales, and technician management. You&rsquo;ll oversee both a Recovery Technician and an Exchange Technician, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You will actively develop new business opportunities, pursue new customer relationships, perform recovery jobs, and assist with exchange operations as needed. This is a field-facing leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in service, sales, and people management, and can effectively balance the demands of each on a daily basis.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate must have a background in sales, service, excellent leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position in the NYC Metro area.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><u>Leadership &amp; Oversight</u></li><li>Manage and support the Recovery Technician and Exchange Technician, setting daily schedules, ensuring job readiness (staffing, equipment etc), and quality standards are met.</li><li>Provide coaching, mentorship, and accountability to ensure consistent performance and development.</li><li>Monitor and report on technician performance, recovery volumes, and customer feedback.</li><li>Act as the go-to field leader and liaison between technicians and corporate operations.</li><li><u>Business Development &amp; Sales</u></li><li>Prospect and qualify new customers for the recovery and exchange programs</li><li>Schedule and perform in-person visits and follow-up calls to present Hudson&rsquo;s full-service recovery solutions.</li><li>Convert &ldquo;buy-back only&rdquo; or inactive customers into full-service partners.</li><li>Track all sales activities and recovery opportunities in CRM system.</li><li>Collaborate with customer service, sales and finance teams to coordinate scheduling, billing, and follow-up.</li><li><u>Recovery Operations</u></li><li>Operate a small-format recovery truck and perform on-site refrigerant recovery for a variety of applications</li><li>Step in to assist with cylinder exchanges when additional support is needed.</li><li>Ensure all work follows Hudson SOPs, EPA regulations, and safety protocols.</li><li>Submit completed work orders, BOLs, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Serve as a face of Hudson in the field, building trust through professionalism and service excellence.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>EPA 608 Universal Certification required.&nbsp;</li><li>OSHA 10, OSHA 40/SST certification, or willingness to obtain certifications, is highly preferred</li><li>Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred</li><li>Comfortable with physical labor and operating recovery machines and cylinder handling equipment.</li><li>Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, and customer service skills.</li><li>Tech-savvy and proficient using digital work orders, CRM tools, and mobile apps.</li><li>Clean driving record and willingness to travel within assigned territory.</li><li>DOT card required or able to be obtained within 14 days of hiring</li><li>This position is subject to DOT testing following hire<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Education and Experience<br>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>&nbsp;5+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigerant recovery, or environmental services.</li><li>Proven track record in outside sales or business development.</li><li>3-5 years&rsquo; experience in managing field or technical staff</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Supervisory responsibilities (Yes or No)</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Yes</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work environment (Office, Plant, Remote)</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Remote</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical demands</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work authorization/security clearance requirements</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Not eligible for visa sponsorship</p></div>\n",
