As a co-op student, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and give you hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.</p><p>Join S&amp;C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!</p><p><strong>Work Arrangement:&nbsp;</strong><i> </i>Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)</p><p><strong>Work Term:</strong>&nbsp;Fall 2026 (4 Months: Sept. - Dec.)</p><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p>At S&amp;C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. <strong>The hourly pay range for this position is $22.70 - $36.40.&nbsp;</strong>Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Join Our Team as an&nbsp;Electrical Engineering Design Support (Co-op)!</strong></p><p>The Electrical Engineering Design Support&nbsp;is responsible for MV Switchgear design and Protection &amp; Control system design. They will also assist with the engineering team in preparing drawings as needed.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Upgrade and maintain process software used for MES design and production control, which is developed with Visual Basic.</li><li>Assist the engineering team in preparing drawings and wiring diagrams as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>What you’ll Need To Succeed:</strong></p><ul><li>Currently pursing a post-secondary degree program in an Electrical or Computer Engineering.</li><li>Enrolled and eligible for a 4 month co-op term starting in Fall 2026.</li><li>Self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Fast learner with an aptitude for learning other company-specific software.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft software, specifically Excel, Word and MS Project.</li><li>Programming skills with Visual Basic or C++; required.</li><li>Knowledge of other software languages would be an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Effort:</strong></p><p>Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace.
