You will be an essential member of the Generator Excitation Solutions team, supporting the application, integration, and commissioning of excitation and voltage regulator systems for power projects. You will help deliver innovative, high‑quality solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional colleagues and customers, and demonstrating the integrity, safety focus, and inclusive mindset that define Emerson’s values.</p>\n<p><strong>This role requires extensive travel up to 80%, including overnights and some weekends. As an industry-leading controls automation company, we drive&nbsp;innovation that makes the world healthier, safer, smarter, and more sustainable.</p>\n<p><strong>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n <li>Apply and integrate excitation subsystem components—such as crowbar, de-excitation, field flashing, power conversion bridges, and voltage regulator controllers—into fully functional excitation/voltage regulator systems that meet customer specifications.<span>&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li>Perform factory acceptance testing to verify that systems meet customer and project specifications.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Travel to customer sites to conduct walkdowns, installations, maintenance, site acceptance testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring safe, high-quality execution and alignment with customer expectations.</li>\n <li>Acquire, prepare, and maintain the necessary test equipment and tools to successfully execute field assignments.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clear understanding of project scope, schedule, hours of work, and key delivery milestones; perform work within budgetary and timeline requirements and communicate risks or changes promptly.</li>\n <li>\n  <p>Proactively inform the Project Manager of any conditions, findings, or customer requests that may affect scope, schedule, cost, or safety.</p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n <li>Seek out and participate in training opportunities to further enhance your technical and field service skills, staying current with evolving technologies and industry practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p>\n<p>You encourage open dialogue to discuss alternative perspectives.
