    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary and Objectives:</span><br>Construction Technician I is an entry-level position for individuals beginning a career in telecommunications construction. This role is focused on learning core skills and assisting with construction tasks, including drop plow operations, utility spotting, and supporting aerial or underground installation work. The Tech I works under close supervision and is responsible for maintaining accurate field documentation.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in drop plow operations for customer service drops.</li>\n<li>Learn to climb poles safely and effectively.</li>\n<li>Operate or assist with smaller construction machinery.</li>\n<li>Spot existing utility lines and ensure safe digging practices.</li>\n<li>Maintain and submit daily job site paperwork and documentation.</li>\n<li>Load, organize, and maintain tools and materials.</li>\n<li>Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety guidelines.</li>\n<li>Some travel may be required.</li>\n<li>Spot Utility lines.</li>\n<li>Complete paperwork.</li>\n<li>Operate Bucket Truck.</li>\n<li>Operate drop plow.</li>\n<li>Operate/Assist operation of smaller machines.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing excellent customer service by following the company’s customer service standards. Ownership, Professionalism, Troubleshooting, keeping customers informed, and providing customers with an experience beyond their expectations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supervisor Responsibilities:</span><br>No supervisory responsibilities.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Competencies:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness to learn telecom construction methods.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of construction safety.</li>\n<li>Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.</li>\n<li>Dependable, team-oriented, and physically capable of labor-intensive work.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical and Mental Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lift and carry up to 80 lbs.</li>\n<li>Frequent bending, kneeling, digging, climbing, and walking.</li>\n<li>Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.</li>\n<li>Ability to understand and complete basic paperwork and reports.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certification/License Requirements:</span><br>Valid driver’s license required and DOT medical card preferred.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment:</span><br>Outdoor job site conditions, exposed to temperature extremes and construction equipment.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span><br>High school diploma or GED preferred.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This position is Safety Sensitive under the Oklahoma medical marijuana law.</span></p>\n<p><br>Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management based on the needs of the business.</p>\n<p></p>",
