It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.</p><p><br></p><p>FORKLIFT OPERATOR: Performs functions pertaining to the movement of material in the warehouse/production areas and placement of materials/inventory with means of a forklift.</p><p><br></p><p>AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:</p><p>a) Operate forklift.</p><p>b) General efficiency of providing the materials to the various lines they are working.</p><p>c) Loading and unloading trucks, trailers or carriers.</p><p>d) Placement of finished product and or materials/inventory.</p><p>e) Rearrange Kan-Ban materials monthly to ensure oldest materials are used first.</p><p>f) Verifying at the beginning of the shift, on a daily basis, that the fork lift is in good working order. This includes daily maintenance.</p><p>g) Verify that all materials being moved are properly labeled and/or placed in properly designated, labeled areas.</p><p>h) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.</p>",
