The company</p><p>currently builds new homes in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Alabama,</p><p>Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Georgia, and South Carolina.</p><p><strong>Reporting Relationship:</strong></p><p>Reports to: The President &amp; CEO of Maronda Homes</p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>Responsible for the management of title services and ensuring the operational business</p><p>models and business plans of Maronda Homes (Maronda) and Steel City Title are being</p><p>strictly adhered to. Acts as the title liaison between Maronda senior management,</p><p>Maronda&rsquo;s buyers and outside lenders, underwriters and closing agents. Responsible for</p><p>compliance with all state and federal rules, regulations, and guidelines and for achieving</p><p>all criteria related to measuring customer satisfaction pertaining to title services. The role</p><p>requires a comprehensive understanding of the title industry, relevant regulations, and the</p><p>ability to manage a team successfully.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> Provide effective leadership to Steel City Title, ensuring the development and</p><p>implementation of strategies that align with the company&rsquo;s goals and objectives.</p><p> Oversee the day-to-day operations of Steel City Title, ensuring efficient and</p><p>accurate execution of the title searches, examination, clearance, and closing</p><p>processes.</p><p> Set performance expectations, provide mentorship and guidance, and ensure a high</p><p>performing and motivated team.</p><p> Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and</p><p>ongoing professional development.</p><p> Develop and maintain effective quality control measures to ensure compliance</p><p>with relevant regulations and company policies.</p><p><br></p><p> Ensure Steel City Title operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations,</p><p>and industry best practices.</p><p> Stay abreast of industry changes and proactively implement necessary adjustments</p><p>to company policies and procedures.</p><p> Monitor key performance indicators, financial results and industry benchmarks to</p><p>identify areas for improvement and drive profitability.</p><p> Ensure proper compliance with state and federal rules, regulations, and guidelines</p><p>as they relate to title services and real estate transactions.</p><p> Assist in formalizing operational procedures for title examination and the timely</p><p>delivery of all title commitments and final policies.</p><p> Ensure all departmental processes and procedures are documented and adhered to</p><p>by title team members.</p><p> Instill quality auditing within the team to ensure that transactions are being</p><p>&quot;cleared to close&quot; within the established standards and requirements.</p><p> Responsible for monthly customer service scores and addressing potential client</p><p>escalations inquiries timely and professionally.</p><p> Oversee the training of all new and existing Steel City Title team members</p><p>including the implementation and training on all new and existing title software</p><p>systems. Ensure that training documentation is regularly updated based on any</p><p>recent statutory, regulatory or underwriter changes.</p><p> Maintain necessary and required certifications, continuing education credits,</p><p>licensing requirements, and/or required internal education courses.</p><p> Review daily work in progress and clear-to-close reports to identify transactions</p><p>that are outside of Service Level Agreements and address appropriately to resolve.</p><p> Manage daily production output of title team members and coach or counsel team</p><p>members that may be falling short of expectations.</p><p> Manage workflow and the allocation of team members according to divisional</p><p>needs and peak volumes.</p><p> Perform other related duties as assigned.</p><p>Education/Skills/Knowledge Required:</p><p> A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in title insurance operations</p><p>with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
