With seating for up to 700 guests, we’re a bustling hotspot during peak season, and we’re looking for hardworking, detail-oriented food expediters to join our team! Your Role as a Food Expeditor: As a food expeditor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive their meals accurately and efficiently. Although this is a back-of-house position with no direct guest interaction, your work is essential to delivering the exceptional experience de Lazy Lizard is known for. Your responsibilities include: Reading order screens and properly organizing food in the designated company order to assist food runners in placing dishes without auctioning. Ensuring the correct sides, sauces, and garnishes are included with each dish. Double-checking printed tickets to verify accuracy and completeness of orders before they leave the kitchen. Maintaining a fast-paced workflow to keep ticket times low and ensure prompt food delivery. Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Keeping the expo station clean, organized, and fully stocked. This is a multitasking and high-pressure role that requires precision, speed, and an eye for detail to help maintain the restaurant's quality standards.
